Film Story :
A 6-year-old is kidnapped a mysterious masked man, who demands an unusual ransom. To save his daughter, Dr. Avinash Sabharwal must kill someone. Meanwhile, Kabir Sawant's journey continues in the hostile environment of the Delhi Crime branch. Lies, deceit and mind games begin when Kabir is given charge of the investigation, and meets Avinash. How far will Avinash go to save his daughter?Breathe: Into the Shadows Movie Review :
Mayank Sharma is back with the second season of Breathe, which is also about a desperate father out to save his only child, even if he has to kill for it. Breathe: Into the Shadows sees Abhishek A Bachchan making his OTT debut as that father, with a beefed-up Amit Sadh connecting the two seasons as inspector Kabir Sawant. The series begins on the right note, establishing Avinash and Nithya’s successful careers as a psychiatrist and a chef and a happy life revolving around their daughter Siya. There is also a parallel track of Kabir, who is serving a sentence for his high-handedness in tackling a case. After six months and surviving some murderous assaults in the prison, Kabir gets himself transferred to Delhi to be close to the victim of his callousness, Meghna Verma (Plabita Borthakur). It serves well to establish the storms the crime branch officer has weathered since the first season and his state of mind. But as the story progresses, a potentially complex storyline is over simplified.
Avinash tries to kill his first victim in broad daylight in a close-knit Delhi colony but no one seems to notice his six-foot-plus presence.
He shows astounding courage for a man who has never killed anyone in his life till that moment. With someone as intelligent and physically imposing as him, wandering around without any disguise seems a bit too courageous. The plans for the murders always seem a bit under-cooked and hasty. Loads of hows and whys hang in the air after each kill. And by the time we reach the big reveal, things suddenly go the masala Bollywood way predictable.
